Durant ces 3 jours, vous apprendrez l’art du portrait au dessin avec 2 maîtres du genre. Tous les 2 diplômés de Grand Central Atelier à New York, James et Victor vous apprendront une méthode poussée pour réaliser des portrait ressemblants.
Le travail de structure et d’anatomie du crâne ainsi que le travail de modelé et de lumière seront abordé en profondeur. Pendant que James ou Victor fait une démonstration, l’autre vous donnera des critiques individuelles
Vous travaillerez d’après modèle vivant pendant les 3 jours.

During these 3 days, you will learn the art of portraiture to drawing with 2 masters of the genre. Each of the two graduates from Grand Central Atelier in New York, James and Victor will teach you a thorough method for making similar portraits.
The work of structure and anatomy of the skull as well as the work of modeling and light will be addressed in depth. While James or Victor gives a demonstration, the other one will give you individual reviews.
You will work according to a live model during the 3 days.

Fabrice Grimard est diplômé de Grand Central Atelier et vient tout juste de remporter un prix au New Salem International Competition. Vous aurez la possibilité et la chance de travailler pendant un mois avec lui sur différents sujets, nature morte, portrait, nu, et peut-être paysage que ce soit en dessin ou à la peinture à l’huile. Vous apprendrez des fondamentaux académiques mais aussi à pousser votre travail beaucoup plus loin.
Fabrice réalisera des démonstrations courtes et longues et vous donnera des critiques personnalisées en plus de son enseignement théorique. Le cours sera bi-langue Français et Anglais.

Fabrice Grimard is a graduate of Grand Central Atelier and has just won an award at the New Salem International Competition. You will have the opportunity and the chance to work for a month with him on different subjects, still life, portrait, nude, and perhaps landscape whether in drawing or oil painting. You will learn academic fundamentals but also to push your work much further.
Fabrice will perform short and long demonstrations and give you personalized reviews in addition to his theoretical teaching. The course will be bilingual in French and English.
